Location

Pension and ranch are situated a beautiful environment of protected scenic area under southern slopes of Jizerské mountains, near-hand are most famous Czech ski centres, as well as in Jizerské as Krkonoše mountains. You will spend your holiday in a natural reservation nearby the forest at 690 m above the sea level, on a half-secluded area of approximately 9500 m2.

The scenic beauties and natural richness of Jizerské mountains gave rise to proclamation of Jizerské mountains as a protected scenic area, that is why the surroundings of this area is fully suitable for all-year-round recreation and it is the centre of summer and winter tourism in Czech.

Jizerske and Krkonose mountains in winter

The area is perfect for winter tourism. Thanks to ideal snow conditions and landscape for cross-country skiing. „Jizerska artery“ is well prepared for skiing tourism every winter season. It has 4 lines and every year a wide public competition takes place, named „Jizerska padesatka“.

Three ski lifts are within a reach for downhill skiing. Well-known centres of Jizerské mountains are „Skiareal Tanvaldsky Spicak“, ski slopes Maxov, Jablonec nad Nisou, Bedrichov, Janov nad Nisou-Severk, Josefuv Dul, Desna, Tanvald, Zasada, Plavy, Jested, and sledge and bobsleigh ice-run in Smrzovka.

Jizerske and Krkonose mountains in summer

While summer hiking, you can choose from lots of well marked hiking or biking trails and roads in Jizerske as well as in Krkonose mountains. There are shorter or longer trails leading through mountain ridges, woody terrain, and grass-lands with interesting flora and fauna.

There are plenty of look-out towers situated in the entire area with many views of the mountains panorama. Some of the smaller lakes offer good conditions for the water-sports-lovers; swimming pools are in Lucany nad Nisou and dam lake of Jablonec.
Accommodated guests can prosper from riding in riding hall or nature, vacations in the saddle, or just a weekend courses with our horses. This can be suitable even for children and beginners.

Free time can be filled with sightseeing of nearby tourist specialities as architectonic show-place of Czech - legendary museum of curiosities “Hnojovy dum” (Misthaus - Dung house) in Jizerka, constructed by famous traveller, alpinist and scientist Gustav Ginzel, geared track Tanvald - Harrachov, Glassworks / Krkonose museum, Liberec Babylon and Aquapark, Jested (on the list of UNESCO), Botanical garden and ZOO Liberec, castles and chateaux in northern Czech, for example Sychrov, Frydstejn a Grabstejn... etc., town sport hall a swimming pool Jablonec nad Nisou, bowling, two quality disco’s in Smrzovka, with evening programme,

In cooperation with nearby private rehabilitation centre a relaxing program can be prepared. Sauna, Whirlpool and fit Centrum, are at your disposal. When staying longer we recommend even longer trips to numerous sightseeing places of Czech.
